Ok, Well I have been reading many of the other post on RO units and see that most people suggest the HiS 60gpd. I looked at the kent site and read all about the different systems. I would like to know if it is necessary to go with the Full size units or if the Bare Bone units will do. Also is a HiS a must or do the TFC units do a good job also? I'll go with a smaller unit and store the water in a 30g trash can or something.
I currently get RO water for free from the lfs(girlfriend works there)but since i'm soon ready to set up the 75g tank i don't want to make that many trips to get the water plus we already use 10g of water a week for top-offs. That should go up to 25 a week once the 75 is set up.
If the bare bone units do just as good of a job with the phosphate they will work for me.
