i dont believe they grow TOO too fast. but you probably should see some growth. your Ca is a little low. believe it or not, but many softies need a lot of Ca. probably coming form your salt mix there unless you ahve tons of other corals.
here are some possibilities based on the knowledge i have:
Ca may be a little low
they are not very fast growers
or hey, it may not be happy cause youve been moving it around all the time!
my suggestion (may not be exactly correct, but this is what i would do)
put it in a medium flow area in the middle part of the tank. let it be. and raise your Ca a little.
as long as it is looking happy i realy wouldnt worry about it.

They definately can grow very fast. The only coral I've seen grow faster is xenia. Your parameters look fine. Sometimes it seems that a coral just doesn't want to grow, nothing you can do about it. It may be that it will be that size forever, or one day it just may explode in size for no reason. I had a number of kenya trees in my tank and some of them grew like crazy and others just sat there.

I've been keeping Kenya trees for about four years. When i first added it to my system it grew very fast and dropped LOTS of branches and i had babies everywhere. I'm not sure if the coral was stressed or just doing very well. Since than i traded the mother coral back to LFS because it got too big and kept some of the remaining babies. Now these are staying pretty small(about 3-4" tall) and are fully open all the time and look very nice.
I keep them at the bottom of the tank in low to medium flow under VHO lights. I feel these corals like, and will grow faster under higher lighting but also do equaly as well in medium light but will stay smaller.HTH

hmmmm, i knew they did grow, but i didnt know they grow as fast as everyone is talking about? i was going to get one, my LFS told me they dont grow too quickly (but we all know how reliable they are). aaaaand they probably told me that cause i didnt want something that would take up a lot of room.

My Kenya Tree is the second fastest growing coral I own. The only thing I have found to grow faster is Green Star Polyps.
I have mine in the shade under a 400w MH with medium flow.

I only have 260watt PC wich is more than than the tank i got it from and it hasn't grown at all in 6 months. It opens up and looks good but won't grow. It is about the size of the end of a pencil including the metal part and the eraser.

I bought one last feb My was real slow at growing for the first 7 months or maybe longer but in the past 4 weeks it has doubled in size. It looked like it was going to die a few times I dosed with idone and it allways came back I Have Mine in a 29 I add one cap of iodine a week I add 2 capfulls of kent plank? twice a week and do 5 gal water changes twice a week since going with this metod my corals have reaqly started to grow and I am looking to set up a tank to put frags in If I can find some place to set it up. With 3 kids 8-3 years old in the house I have limted space man there toys can use up lots of room.
