Kenya trees

So my kenya trees started to bleed when I pulled them out of the ground. The question is are they really bleeding or is it something else.

Is it blood though or somthing else

Well you could call it blood. It's mainly the liquid that carries nutrients around the coral as well as a protective measure to close the wound.
