I must be asking the question in a wrong way. Im looking for ideal water conditions for a reef tank. In terms of carbonate hardness and calcium in ppm. anyone?

KH in ppm for a marine tank should be between 140 to 200 ppm. Calcium should be around 400 to 450 in ppm IMO.
