Kick Ick

Hi
went to lfs store today. They recommend using Kick Ick, for ick infected fish. Does this product work? I have a few corals and was wondering if it will damage it.
removing my fish is not an option... i tried last night and made a huge scratch on my tank. The clown doesnt look like he has ick. he looks like he has a thin film over his skin, kinda like his skin is peeling. any idea what is it? I had an ick infected fish before and want to make sure it is totally gone.

Did you add the clown recently?
Sounds like it may be brooklynella. If so there is no choice but to let the fish die or remove the fish and treat him with formalin bathes. The procedure is detailed in the FAQ Thread at the top of this forum as well as pic of a clown with the disease.
Kick Ich is next to useless. It can effect inverts adversely.
