i feel nearly alone, that, some of my friends have "drinking groups" that get together when parents are away, and drink. some smoke too... i've never tryed a cigar/ cirarette/ pot/ or any type of illegal drug, nor have i ever drank any booze, anyone else not ever try either???
I'm disapointed, that... they drink... smoke.. stuff like that
I've been offered mushrooms, and have politely declined..

it's funny... because my mom thinks i'm a druggy, i have my physical, to go into high school, she was like, oh, you passed your blood and urine test?!

well, good for you for keeping sober.....it is soooooo important, especially through school. i was sober as a minister through school, but while on vacation this last weekend, well i did everything you talked about. also 6 years out of high school, but that dosent make any difference, it was my choice, but definately a rare occurance. definately not recomending it though.

All I can add is a big :yes: for not giving in to peer pressure. That has to be one of the hardest things to do. The group I ran with, in HS, was considered the "square" group, since nobody in the group drank, smoked, or did drugs. Most were in ROTC. 30 years later, I have no regrets that I didn't join a "cooler" crowd.
Stick to your principles - it will serve you well as you go along!

Good job in not giving into pier pressure, I know how hard it can be. Last summer I hung out with a group of kids that did all that stuff and they offered me some marajuana but I told them no(Quite proud of myself for that :yes:) Got into a better croud now so its all good. Good job again :D

I have never touched any type of illegal drug (and believe me there have been no shortage of opportunities). I didn't have a drink until I was a Senior in High School, never got drunk until I was 21 ( and even then it has only happened a handful of times).
Good for you, stay strong and try to find a group of friends with the same morals and standards as you, that will help a lot.

i have NEVER tried any of, as my friend calls it, "bad stuff" lol never plan on it either, however i do LOVE my VIRGIN pina colodas and margaritas, they are the bomb!! i play school sports and at a tournament once i was on a bus with this huge druggie and he was snortin a pill, i had to keep everything in me to keep me from laughing, it was hilarious. it was my first time around drugs and i just thought it was so funny that this guy was hunkered down on the school bus with a small piece of paper snortin some pill lol but i am weird like that, well actually iam a sheltered kid that goes to church twice and week and i wouldnt trade it in for anything!:yes:

Congradulations.... don't ever try anything. I got into drugs hard in H.S. and it messes your life up more than you can ever imagine. Quit everything but smokin cigs... that's bad but I figure better than before

I won't lie every now and then me and a bunch of friends go out camping on an island buy me have a fairly big party like 50 people or so we take trips back in forth to get people in our boats but there is usualy only drinking but I like to have a little fun specialy as a kid. We all usually end up everywhere but our tents LOL!! Partying is not for everyone but its for me!!

stick to it you will be a better succes in life and move further then your friends my friends were big time party people i mean big i joined the marines when i was 17 and got away from it and while i kept in touch with them most of them had gone to jail got dui's mulitiple fights and all kinds of stuff and some are still up to that stuff i stuck to my guns and straightened up and am doing very well for 24

hey im proud of myself, my friend asked me if i wanted a cig. and i told him no cause im quttin......to tell u the truth quitin isnt that hard, well thats cause i dont smoke a pack a day

Its easy. Lost all yer money, dont buy ciggarettes, and dont smoke em. I dont see y people make it so hard on themselves. I especially like da CUBAN cigars. They are da BOMB! Montecristos are awesome. Pot is okay, but getting drunk is so much more fun, cuz yer not being lazy, and u do crazy stuff too!! Im done now, and yes, I do sports. Football, maybe wrestling again, but wrestling is kinda gay... (rolling around grappling a hot, sweaty guy...):rolleyes:

OK here's the Mama's answer! I have 2 teenagers still in the house and what I tell them is. . . I hope you don't feel the urge to follow your friends and want to be independant and yourself enough not to follow others, BUT if you find yourself in a "situation" please don't drive or drive with someone who is ALSO in a "situation" PLEASE call mom or dad (NO QUESTION) We just want you safe, where ever you are, or whatever your doing, whatever time it is. . . call us we'll come get you, NO QUESTIONS. My 18 year old son called too drunk to drive his dad came and got him. My son's friend was arrested on a DUI lost his license for a year, 80 hours community service and huge fine! It isnt worth it! honest!
Congratulations to those of you mini adults on this board who can refrain from the temptation it is so honorable

Just remember there is a place AND time! it's all about fun!
