KILLER FISH (well not really)

I have a question for those more knowledgeable than me-
I now have a tank with 2 blue damsels, 2 neon velvet damsels, and 1 domino damsel.
The problem is that I have noticed nibles on the tails of the neon velvet damsels. Although I have not caught the domino in the act, I think he is guilty. He is agressive and chases the other fish. What can I do before he eats an entire fish??

I never had any problems with different damsels in one tank but when I first got my velvet(neon) damsels the larger of the 2 picked on the smaller I would watch them first and see if maybe thats what is happening..
good luck

this is one reason why most of us do not like damsels, they are notorious for this and often do nip fins, OFTEN BUT NOT ALWAYS, so i would have to say if it is fins being nipped, i would guess probably another damsel
how big and how old is your tank, also do you have lr for shelter

thank you. this is a new 37 gal tank, I'm just starting, that's why I have damsels (cheapest) to start. I do have some coral, etc for hiding, but not a lot. I appreciate all input.

you can try rearranging the rock a bit, somtimes this makes tehm feel as though they no longetr ahve a territory adn may then try to reestablish one, in which case, they may all be fine afterwards(somtimes this may help), i would do this after i turn the lights offf
