killer in the tank?

I've got 3 firefish and I noticed one had a huge split in its tail a few days ago. Its not fin rot but looks like it was attacked. Well today one of my other fires is entirely missing the long top fin that they are always raising. I suspect the culprit might be a little rock crab I noticed a week or so ago. I've had all my fish for quite some time now and only added a little lr that had the crab in it. This liitle guy is not even an inch round. Anyone had this happen before?

ive had alot of problems with firefish actually killing each other. i did have one get eaten by an emerald crab, but the only reason he even had a chance to catch him was because the fish kept jumping out of the tank and was a bit dizzy when he was thrown back in. when healthy, firefish are probably a bit too fast for a rock crab to catch. my bet is that the other firefish are the culprits.

both are extremely good possibilities
firefish do often fight
and firefish also hide in holes at night, oftne times holes that are made and defended by rock crabs
