Killing Aiptasia w/ a twist, need advise

I'm currently breaking down my 75 FOWLR and I'd like to use the rock in my 240g Reef however it has some aiptasia on it.
I have lots of options that I could follow:
1. Put the LR in Freshwater
2. Pull it out and let it dry
3. Soak it Joe's Juice
4. ???
Any one have any suggestions as to a way to clean the rock without turning it into dead white rock.

I would individually spot treat each aptasia because if joes juice is anything like aiptasia x, it will bleach your coralline.

If the reef tank is already cycled, I do not recommend soaking in FW unless you plan on cycling these rocks again. A quick FW did will not kill most aiptasia.
I would spot treat rather than soak. Anything that kills aiptasia can usually kill many other things (usually beneficial things) so soaking in joe's juice, which is lemon juice isn't a good idea.

Peppermint shrimp are not a guarantee, more of a 50% chance that they'll eat aiptasia. When they do eat them, they'll usually only eat the smaller ones, once they get any size to the, 99% of peppermints leave them alone.

Pepermints work good to keep them down. I keep pepermints and spot treat them as they pop up. I boiled a rock and washed it it fresh water let it dry and within 2 weeks in a diferent tank some poped up! they are tuff

Good Luck

Every animal is different but I have had great success with peppermint shrimp. Last weekend I picked up some new liverock rubble to add to my sump and discovered a couple nems after getting it home. I placed in the DT and the shrimp ate the apistasia before it even fully extended! These were very small specimens but I was amazed at how fast they took it out. They are so cheap you won't be out much if it doesn't work.
