lol, ya i hear that. I refuse to tell my friends what I have invested in this thing. Lol, I always let them guess and just tell them, "ya, that pretty close". Lol, if they even knew. I look at it as a living moving piece of artwork, which not many people have.
Anyone can go to the pet store and buy some tetras, but keeping a copperbanded butterfly is a whole another ball game... and i won't even get into keeping corals.
Furthermore, I justify the price spent on all the top dollar equipment, by telling myself that I can alway keep it for a tank later down the road, if God forbid i ever decide to sell this one.
This is the most addicting hobby I've ever had! Thank the lord that after this canopy is done, i'm done buying equipment.
