knocking on glass

Last week I went to a childrens hospital where all the floors had types of saltwater and fresh aquariums.
Each time that I passed one I was children smacking the glass and yelling at the fish, finally i had to point out to parents that the fish could hear them and that the smacking sounds and yelling disturb the fish.
anyone else see this type of thing going on?

Oh yea, i worked at a lfs for a year and a half. I think after dealing with a couple hundred moms using the store as a free zoo trip I had an immaculate vasectomy

the other day i was getting school supplies which they had lined up on the aisles around the fish section and there were 4 kids smacking the tanks one of the boys even reached his fingers into the water so i walked over there and just yelled out for 'whoever owns these beasts better get over here and get them away from the tanks before i call the manager' and a woman comes over there and shoots me a dirty look and gets the kids , i hate people like that, besides if you cant control your little demons get your tubes tied dont keep popping 'em ou

when I see kids behaving so poorly in public it makes me want to smack the parents. granted eventually any child may act up in public, its just a fact of being a kid. but allowing bad behaviour is just irresponsible parenting.

You know, when I first read this I thought calling the kids beasts probably crossed the line but then again perhaps if more of us would call out lousy parents the world would be a slightly better place.
I just don't get people who let their kids run wild through a store like that. I would be embarrassed. I guess that explains how you end up with little disrespectful heathens like those who filmed themselves diving into the fish tanks as Cabellas.
