Kodak Z650 Questions

I just ordered a Kodak Z650 Camera. I have heard good reviews and since im just an amature i thought it would be a good starter! My question is I have heard that the battery life is not that great. I was wondering if anyone has this camera and how many pics can you get out before the batteries wear out? Does anyone recommend a good cheaper rechargable battery? Thanks a lot! and happy easter!

i have taken a few hundred pictures on the original charge on the battery and it has not died with time yet either nice camera did you get the new 7.1 mp or the 6.1

Should be here within the next couple of days and im going to Hawaii on the 20th so im excited to see how it does!
