Koralia smart wave question

Hey guys
I just got a koralia smart wave controller and I was wondering how is the best to way to set the alternating pattern. Should I set I to alternate every few seconds or minutes or what?

For the 125 DT I would set it for 1 minute. Observe it for several minutes. I believe your tank is a 6 ft long. If you don't get the flow in the tank go ahead and move the time down to 30 seconds (between 15 seconds to one minute).

I have the same tank and used the smart wave controller with 4 evo's 1400gph. I ran mine between 45 seconds and 1 minute. It put out some pretty good flow. Your positioning of the individual powerheads will have a bit more to do with great flow coverage then the frequency of the controller.

Hey can you provide a pic for the poster to see how you have your powerheads are placed?

The placement here worked pretty good for me. The two on the bottom are closer to the front of the glass, and the two that are higher are towards the back glass. The higher ones did a great job at breaking the surface area of the water for good Oxygen exchange. You kind of need to play around with them to find the right spot for your rockwork. HTH's!!
