Two weeks ago I notice all the wonderful critters on top of my sand. Two days ago I started to see dead worm on the sand. I still have the stars on the glass and there are still some worms that are alive and I think I have some copepods I'm not to familar with them. Anyway what could cause this? I'm in the process of testing the water parameters.
The other question is that I need to clean the algae off the tanks glass. Like I said before I have stars and copepods on the glass, should I just roll over them?

Ok, the Ammonia= 0.0, Nitrite=>.25, Nitrate= it's still high 140 ppm. I'm waiting for the replies!
