Lagoon tanks?

Hey i was reading a previous forum about Lagoon tanks? it looked like the hobbyist set up something like a pool? IDK what it was and I would like to know if you guys don't mind telling me! I thought it was one of the coolest tanks I have ever seen before. If anyone has a lagoon pool/tank and would not mind posting pictures, please do so? I want to learn more about them..

I don't have one myself, but I can help explain.
A lagoon tank is a tank where viewing is intended to happen through the top, rather than the sides. It means the tank is pretty much a kiddie pool, and you are looking down at the fish, rather than through the glass.
LFS on LI had a small one with damsels for awhile. I agree, it was very cool to see, and you felt a lot closer to the fish.
That said, they have to be a pain b/c you're limited on your stocking options, lighting its a pain, and you're dealing with a whole different set of conditions with evaporation and heating.
