Spending my time searching my stocking list as my tank finishes it's Diatom bloom and has time to get nice and stable.
I have the list 99% but want to know from first hand experience about angels. Narrowed it down to two that I love. Need help deciding based on hardieness, surviability, tempermant, and just plain good looks.
Tank - 240g (96x24x24)
Tankmates in order
- Volitan Lionfish
- Snowflake Moray
- Harlequin Tusk
- Miniatus Grouper
- Yellow Tang
- Niger Trigger
- Golden tail Moray
- Angel TBD

- Sohal Tang
I was decided on the Queen but I'm just worried that she will get just too big. Would a Majestic be a better choice?

a queen for your tank would be nice.the queen imo is the most beautiful fish never add it to a new tank.your tank should be at least 1 yr.old better 2yrs. and feed it something like mega-marine angel it has sponge in it.also make sure your water prams are stable.

I'm a little hesitant to add my grouper into this tank as I'm afraid he'll grow into a fish killer.
And I know once I put him into an 8' tank with 300lbs of LR it will be a nightmare to get him out.
Should I be concerned?

I'd be more concerned about the sohal tang. Their reputation as a bossy aggressive fish is well deserved. Queen angels are pretty much in the same category. The majestic is a bit more retiring but much less aggressive and IMO would be a better citizen. Of the large angels I've kept, I like my present majestic the best.
