large fish with DSB

i just added a 4.5 inch deep sand bed as per fishubbys recommendatoin which imhappy with. my levels have all come down. and tank looks and is doing well. however in future i plan on getting a decent size fish like a flame angel. or large clown fish? my sand is farily fine that pink stuff.. will they kick and blow it all around with there larger tails and mess tank up? is that fine sand ok with decent size fish.. thank all..

didn't you post that you have a 29 gallon tank? if thats the case, stay away from any large fish. as for the flame, i would stay away from them too. just too unpredictable for a reef tank in my opinion.

well large lord of reef is in eye of beholder. large to me is something size of flame angle 2 to 3 inch fihs for my 29 galloon.. humor me anyhow. say i had a 55 gallon with dsb.. will the larger fish kick the sand around. i saw what my little clown fish did. he rose hell in my tank wiht his small red tail.. lol

I would'nt think they would mess it up. I have a pair of black clarkii, a banggi carinal, a large yellow tang, a corals beauty and a flame angel in my reef and they do not mess with my sand.
