Large Green Carpet Must Go In PA

I got this carpet with my tank when I bought it but it is starting to cost too much money to feed. I try to feed this thing and it never eat for me it just leaves the food go. Well today I just magically lost my 6th fish and it was healthy as could be yesterday
. So far I lost a sailfin and a kole tang that were about 3-4 inches 3 chromis and a manderin
. I think I spent enough money on him for now
. This thing is super healthy and spreads out great during the days. I think my percula will miss it but I have a new one to replace it. I had a small perc in with it that was about 1 inch long and the carpet never did anything to it. This is a picture in my 92 bowfront. I would like to get 125 for it and I would rather not ship it. My email is mikey122478@verizon.net if interested and I am located @ 19464 PA

sorry to hear about your green carpet but man does it help me and my boyfriend not feel like we're crazy!! my BF had a green carpet for about 3 days and it ATE his blue throat trigger!! we took it right back to the LFS and the guy there absolutely did not believe him! claims the fish "know better than to go near it". good luck selling it - hopefully you'll be able to find a good home for it!

good luck with the sale of the carpet.
Just wanted to say hey as I live right across the river(19465). Not sure if I am allowed to talk about local reef club here so if your interested in local reef clubs e-mail me at namas@comcast.net.

I had a buyer but was in Florida but I just don't trust my shipping of this. I would love to keep this thing and just not buy anymore fish but it moves on me all the time and nocks things over and stings my corals. I know I am not a good salesman putting down my own product

i definitely think your best bet would be to find an LFS at least within a reasonable distance and see if they'll buy it off of you...

well this could be completly off track but my friend said that a piece of ock fell on his wile he was away when he got back the anemonie split you could try it and sell it in smaller pieces. Goob luck!

I know how you feel. My green carpet ate a 4" red wrasse while we sat in disbelief at the dinner table. I tryed to save the fish, but couldn't so I got it out of my tank and took it to the LFS with the fish half way down his throat. People in the store were freaking out. The guy who owns the store said he wouldn't believe it if he hadn't seen it. I guess I was lucky because he replaced the wrasse and gave me credit for the Carpet. Good luck finding a home for it.

Tell me about it
. I would love to keep this if I had a 265 gallon because there might be enough room for it. I had the guy at the LFS tell me that the fish are smart and will avoid it.
. Thats what he said about my chromis. I am looking at it now and its over a foot across and I have seen my skunk cleaner steal food off of it and was getting stuck to it the whole time
. I also lost a sea hare to it because as soon as the hare stopped on it the carpet started to close and I started to rip the thing apart as the hare was dying my tank with ink. The only reason I seen that was my wife said " look at the carpet pooping"
. Whatcha gonna do
