large live rock add - risks?

What are the risks of adding a large amount of live rock to an established tank at one time. I have two fish in my 125 with about 75 pounds of live rock. A local reefer has decided to break down a tank that has been running for a couple of years. I plan on buying enough rock from his tank to double the amount of rock in mine. Since the rock is long since cured and the it will only be out of water for less than 30 minutes (drive time to my house) do I risk an amonia spike that could kill my fish? thanks

u should be ok as long as they've been in his tank so far. i would suggest putting them in a rubbermaid (or similar) container and using towels wetted down with his aquarium water over the top to keep them wet/moist during transport.
