LARGE YELLOW TANGS ??

Just curious how large your yellow tang may be, if you have one. Mine is around 4" in diameter and was wondering how BIG they get.

I heard that in the wild they can get like 8" but I don't know if they get that big in the aquaria.

I've seen them reach the size of 7" in diameter, but that is the largest, and that was in the Indianapolis Zoo. Thanks for moving the topic. I think it will get more responses here.

I've had a few that lived for five years or more that never really got past four or five inches. They just don't seem to grow much in captivity for some reason.
