larger ocellaris clown nipping smaller one?

I picked up a pair of ocellaris clowns about a week ago. One is about an 1 1/2 inches and the other is about an inch. I was hoping they would become a mated pair and they always swim together, but I have seen the larger one take a couple nips at the small one, and now the small one's tail has a couple of nips taken out of it. Is this normal dominance establishment, or is there no chance of them becoming a mated pair now?

Just normal behavior to keep the smaller male in his right place. Right now they are too young to mate also.
