depending on where you are looking, they are either called white porcelain or anemone crabs. In Ohio, they are one of the easiest non-hermits to find (I don't know why???). He is nothing more than a filter feeder, but he is really neat to watch. He hangs upside down and flails his arms around trying to catch food in his feather like appendages.
I'm not sure about the cleaner clam...he has only been in there a couple of days, I do see him open up from time to time and close when things touch him (such as ME), so I am pretty sure that he is still alive.

last pic is an porcelain crab that we got from SWF.com...a little disappointed in them, as they are very seldom out and about like the anemone crabs that we have (since they are often called porcelain crabs, I figured their behavior would be similar...WRONG)

you have 2 dwaft angles in a 55g? very courageous!!
how old is your tank?
looks really lean.
I hope your star do well.
I have one. And I added in my tank when then tank was new.
I had been warned that Linka stars need a well mature tank and lots of lr to survive.
mine's still doing well.

Yeah...2 dwarfs in a 55, we had the Eibli and my wife fell in love with the keyhole. I had to completely rearrange the rock in order to eliminate the Eibli's territory before introducing the keyhole. They didn't get along the first night, but have, dare I say, become friends as I often see them swimming side by side. I haven't caught them chasing each other in over a month, so it appears that they may do ok.
What do you mean...looks really lean??? I am not sure that I follow???
The linckia has only been in there for 2 weeks, but has eaten krill that I put underneath it. My only concern is the keyhole nipping at the tips of legs, I didn't know that they did that???
The tank has been set up since November, with fish since January 1.
We have over 70lbs of LR and 70lbs. of live sand in the tank, so hopefully that is enough for the star, along with the spot feedings.

Tank has been up and running since November (first fish added January 1). I know that the angels are supposed to need established tanks, but didn't hear this until after I bought the Eibli. However, the Eibli is, and has been, doing wonderfully since we purchased him as one of our first fish (along with a maroon).

For the most part, any coral that I put into the tank goes into the other side of the tank from the anemone.
What is wrong with the shrimp and dragonet??? I have never heard anything about them not being compatible???? And...I haven't seen any problems in the 2 plus months since we got the mandarin. Should I be concerned???

mandarins need 100+ pounds of established rock with plenty of pods to eat. unless you can get it to eat prepared foods, which is rare, it may end up starving. also, what type of lighting do you have?

260W PC.
For the mandarin, we have been purchasing pods from SWF.com to supplement his diet. I have caught him nibbling on mysis shrimp from time to time as well. I will also be setting up a refugium over the summer after I get my tank drilled and my sump set up.
