Lawnmower Blenny - Hearty?

Hi all,
My lawnmower blenny was DOA today right out of the box

. I took the package right from the Fed Ex guy, so he wasn't sitting outside. Just curious if they are generally a hearty specimen and I was just unlucky. If they are fragile, then I will pick one up at my LFS instead of ordering another one.

They are a hardy fish. They do often starve to death though because they eat mainly algae. I have to give mine Nori because he ate all of the algae in my tank.
Mine also became very aggresive and began to eat the slime coat off of my Blue Hippo Tang. However, this is rare and they are generally seen as a peaceful fish.
