I recently added a lawnmower blenny. I already have a bicolor blenny. When i added the new blenny his color changed dramatically! He is now solid purple with orange on the ends of his fins and an orange mouth. He was normal color before i added him. Hes very pretty.....but i was wondering if anyone has seen this before? Is it something in my tank thats making him this color? It's not the best pic, sorry!

I think LB's are able to change colors according to their mood, and/or their environment. Mine changes color all the time, too. Sometimes, it's almost solid white... and five minutes later it may be solid black. Sometimes it's half and half. Some days it's extremely colorful, and some days it's extremely dull. It must be normal, as nothing in my tank bothers him, and I've never seen him stressed. I think it's super-cool!
