not likely. Some do, but I would not buy one for the sole purpose of eating brown algae. They prefer greener algaes.

If by "brown algae" you mean diatoms then probably not...lawnmower blennys will munch most types of algaes associated with marine systems and are often used to control pest algaes but I don't believe they do much for diatoms.

I have a LMB and no he will not eat Diatoms aka brown algae

I have a Redlip Blenny and a few turbo snails. They are takin care of the brown algae that had started up in my tank.
