Lawnmower blenny

I picked up a lawnmower blenny the other day, now he is in QT, I don't have any alge in my QT tank but im sure there is a little in my DT tank. What should I feed him? I feed formula 2 and mysis shrimp, but I havent seen him eat any of it.

Are you running hypo, or just observing?
If you're not running hypo and the tank hasn't been treated with medication, you can give him a live rock from your established tank. He will eat the filamentous algae from that. You can also try Emerald Entree frozen food and algae sheets

+1...also a tip......you might have to use a rubberband to tie an algae sheet on a rock to get him to recognize it as food.

Try some pellets for herbivores.

I fed mine a mix of emerald entree, alage sheet (purple or green) and mysis during qtine/hypo/copper. he Quickly got very spoiled and kinda fat on the mysis (PE or san fran. brand). He's happy as can be now, and since introduction in the 475 - he's on a more normal diet of mostly alage, but still loves the mysis. He's still pretty fat though.

mine eats almost everything i feed the other tank mates. brine shrimp, small frozen shrimp, spectrum pellets, algae sheets...etc. hes very spoiled now and if im in visible range of the tank, he usually waits for food from me. but i have sneak-watched him and hes all over the tank kissing algae on the glass/powerhead cords/heater/heater cord...etc. and by kissing, i mean eating. it looks like he kisses the glass when he eats it though

I picked up some alge sheets today to try that. All feed him in the morning mysis and see if he will eat it. He is in copper QT.

Mine loved squid. He was sooooo fat, and almost looked like he had a beer gut. Then he went carpet surfing.
