I just purchased a anemone it is white with purple tips and has a pink base. Seems like he is being lazy he just lays on his side, at one time he was upside down on my live rock but most of the time he is on his side. Please help.

Take a look at the anemones in the inverts section on the left side in the buisness section and see if you can identify it.
Give the anemone a couple of weeks, this is an accimation period for it, during this time it will wander the tank and acclimate itself to your water and lighting.
Once you figure out what it is let us know and tell us about your lighting.

I do not have metal halide lights yet just read I need them. Ok but how much for a 75 gal. And what does HQI and PC's mean. help!!!

I got talked out of MH lights. All I heard was heat heat heat. I talked to a couple people that have anemones and said to have had them for years with no MH lighting. I have a 40W blue actinic and 40W high intensity and 2 24" compact florescents with 65W each. If thats not enough light my living room will glow.
