Lazy Lion

I have a large lion, 10-12 inches and he seems to kinda chill on the bottom of the tank a lot lately. I have 3 power heads, and it seems as if he lays their and lets the water flow over the top of him. Is this a sign of him getting sick? I fed him and he ate like a pig. He recently, within the past week shed off his slim coat, but from what I read its perfectly normal. He swims around here and there. I am wondering if my current is to strong for him or if he is sick. Any signs to look for besides loss of appetite?
PS he is in a 75G fish only, with a Undulated Eel (that is affraid of him) and a stars and stripes puffer (which is best friends with the eel). I never see any aggression in the tank.

That's a decent bioload for that size tank.
What are your parameters ???
You say the lion is sitting in front of the powerheads, so:
1. Is the water well oxygenated?
2. Is there any sign if ich?

I changed the direction of the powerhead, and there are no signs of ich. I have a biowheel 350 and canister(can't remember which one) that handles 350 filtration. He is breathing not heavy but constant...which makes me wonder how he was breathing before I thought there was something wrong.
