Lazy or sick clowns?

My two percs seem to like lying on their sides alot. They seem completely normal when I feed them. They interact with my other fish (blackcap basslet and a sixline) normally, I haven't noticed any harrasment towards them. My water tests fine:
trite-0
trate-0
amm.-0
When ever I walk into the room they're in they are lying on their sides on the sandbed. As soon as they see me they get up and swim around. What worries me is the fact that they never leave the right quarter of my tank, ever, I have neer seen them on the lefft half of my tank since I got them in june. So, are they sick, lazy or scared of the unkown?
Thanks!

have they hosted to anything yet?? I have had a mated pair of clowns for 3 years now, they lay eggs every 3 weeks to a month. I would consider them very healthy and active but they are very much home bodies. Like you were saying, they hardly ever go to the other side of the tank to explore, they just hang out right around thier home. They did decide to change houses twice in 3 years now and as recently as a few months ago. Right now they seem to perfer a very dense patch of pulsing xenia.
