lead in tank?????

i droped about 1/4 inch of lead from a pencil into my tank.
will this hurt it?????

Can you reach it? It will be a problem if it is left in there.

nope, cant find it.... must of fell between the live rock.. or something. maybe fish ate it..........

Put fresh carbon in your filter just in case. Do you have corals?

yeah lots. it was the tip of a pencil. you think it could do that much damage to corals.???

I am not completely sure, but metals of any kind are dangerous to corals. Run the fresh carbon and maybe do a few water changes in a couple of days.

if it helps any...
pencil lead is made up of mixture of graphite with clay in different degrees of hardness; the marking substance in a pencil
