Leafy and Weedy Sea Dragons

I thought this group would be interested to know.
One of our suppliers in Sri Lanka are now offering Captive Bred Leafy and Weedy Sea Dragons.
I've always loved seahorses, to the point of breeding erectus. I've seen the Sea Dragons in Boston, Dallas, and the Tampa Aquariums.... and I find them amazing.
Thought I'd pass this on. It's great to see them captive bred.
Now for those expecting them to be stocked soon at swf.com with a 15 day guarantee, forget it. Each one is selling wholesale for $3-5000.00.

Yes, this is the first I've seen this. I always thought they were restricted to Public Aquariums, Research, etc.
I've never seen them available.

We are actually looking into this. Someone is indeed breeding these. I wonder whose tank they will end up in... could be interesting LOL.

Neato!! Last time I explored buying these, they had just come off the endangered species list. A pair of them cost $11,000.00!
Well, that was 12 years ago....so...maybe 12 years from now they'll be $150 each?
