Leaky tank

My tank has a very slight leak and I can't seem to find exactly where its coming from . . . but I do know that a drop of water will peridically run down the front glass panel. I bought some AGA silicone today and am wondering what the best way to approach the repair is. Do I:
A. lower the water level in the tank and run a bead between the top plastic trim and the inside of the glass panels.
or
B. Run a bead between the top plastic trim and the outside of the glass panels.
What do you think or does it matter . . . for the sake of simplicity, option B will obviously be much easier.

i would try approach B first lol like u said much easier than the first option.... but i guess if that doesnt work then u might give A a shot too....
hmmm so its coming from the top of the tank though??
i dont know really what else you could other than that ...

I would do option A
the silicon will not dry right if it is just a little wet and it may not fix the problem... do it right the 1st time so you don't have to do it again!

ditto on option a. you really dont have to remove that much water. and IMO it should be about a 15 min job. just do a water change and before you add the new water do the silicon first
