I have 2 24"65w pc's and 1 48" 40w aqua coral and 1 48" 40w aqua relle lights over my 75gal. I want a sebae for my clown. I was thinking of changing the 48" lights to vho lights will this be enough for the sebae. If not what would be the least amount to go with. My wife is against MH lighting. Is there a way around MH lighting? If not what is the least amount of MH I can do?

IMO sebaes should only be kept with MH lights because the lights will need to reach all the way down to the sand where the sebae will stay.

Yep metal halides is the best way to go with a sebae. I got my lighting from a fellow mod getting out of the hobby, he also had a 75 gallon and a sebae anemone. 940 watts of lights. I have pics posted of his sebae when it was white in his system with VHO lights then he upgraded to the VHO/MH combo and the anemone became one of the healthiest ones I have ever seen.

I think that would be fine.

You simply start out slow just a couple hours per day then work your way up to what you want, by adding a half hour to hour per week more until you get the look you want. I used to think my VHO were bright, like a mac truck was in my room, now without the halides the VHO looks dull. I'll bet you find the same thing with yours.

I happen to like the look of the 10k myself, but I also use 440 watts of VHO, 2-50/50's and 2 actinic.

I'm about at my limit the wife is about to cut me off. I'm going to try to sneek in the 10k, I hope that you tell me 1 175 10k MH and 2 65 watt 50/50 pc's will keep a hosting anemone

It should unless your tank is 2+ feet deep, then I'd go with 250 watters on the MH.
