Leather coral doomed?

On sunday, I brought home a finger leather. I placed it in the tank about midway up. It sagged a little the next morning, and i heard that this is normal so I didnt worry. The next day it was even more droopier. Today is is laying down completely. I added some current two days ago and lowered it, in case my 175 MH were too bright for it. It looks horrible. its really pale and has shrunk considderably. I think I acclimated it too quickly. what else can I do? Is it going to die? Please help.

How and how long did you acclimate it?
What kinda lighting was it in at the store?
I bet the lighting was low at the LFS, so yes, put it at the bottom of your tank. Maybe near a corner out of direct light.
Keep a mild current on it, not to strong, it will keep the slime off it.
Good luck, let us know how it goes.
