leather died! help! ammonia!

My leather just died and i took it out of the tank and there still is alot of decaying stuff in the tank that i can not get out. will this cause more ammonia in the tank? will this kill any of my other corals and fish? ANY INFO HELPS! THANKS.

Any info at all? anything WILL help! i hate to come back to this topic every 3 minutes and see 0 replies and 2 visits. THANKS.

THANX FOR YOUR HELP! I fogot all about this post! I used a vacume to syphin out all the decaying matter. also i used this ammonia stuff that was suppost to help with ammonia...it did. Now, my ammonia is at 0...but, i still cant figure out why my nitrate went to 10ppm????? interesting!
