leather frag to stick to rock

Hi all,
How do you get a leather frag to stick to a rock? I have had it for 5 days and it is growing. I had it tied to a rock with thread but, it grows so fast that I have to put a bigger rock behind it to keep it upright and have to redo the thread. Can I dry off the bottom and use Krazy glue gel to stick it to the rock?

Frag glue might work if the leather doesn't produce too much mucus, but i haven't had a lot of luck with that. you can actually sew through the bottom of the piece and secure it to a rock large enough to support its growth.
my 2 cents

I thought about actually sticking a needle through it. But, I didn't want to cause it unnecessary harm.

hmmmmmmmm, I attached some green sinularia using a needle and fishing line. Poked a hole with the needle and fed the monofilament through, then superglued the line to a rock. Maybe one day I'll get in there and cut the line out. I have also heard of people using tooth picks.
good luck

Try glueing the side of the stalk to the rock to avoid the slime. Otherwise the needle and thread will work and won't hurt the frag...or perhaps a rubberband.

if you use a toothpic method I forgot to say use a plastic one LOL the leather wont attach to it like they will the wood ones.
