leather problem

leather seems to be melting away,just started doing that few days ago.checked everything from saltinty to cal. to pho. anyone have any suggestions or ideas would it could be :thinking: :help:

post the water parimeters, and what kinda lighting do you have, and what size tank?

is the leather look like its shedding its skin? If so this is totally normal, it is how they grow. If thats the case then dont worry bout it. If the leather seems to be caving in on itself then there is a lighting problem either too much or not enough. If it looks like it is falling apart into pieces, then its usually water conditions or lighting problem that has killed the coral. Try moving the leather either up or down in the tank.
