Leave damsels in after cycling?

I just wanted to see what everyone's opinion is about leaving damsels in after cycling. How many would you keep? If any. I have a 135 gallon aquarium and am thinking about getting rid of the mean little ba$t@*&s!!!

It is usually best to get rid of them, but the problem usually is with getting them out. I have one blue devil left from my cycle back in August of last year and to be honest he really does not bother anything, but I know that can change in an instant.

I would just leave them in. I won't buy them unleass I wanted to keep them. I actually like the small damsels among the bigger fishes. It gives it a "community" look. Sometimes the other fishes did eat the damsels but that only happened once to me.

If you get green or blue chromies they are not aggressive, and they will school which looks real nice in a large tank. Good Luck

My best advice is to try and catch them if you can! I have a 55 gal with 100 lbs. of lr and let me tell you it was a pain in the you know where! I wouldn't worry too much in 135 gal. depending on how much lr you have and how many and what kind of damsel. The feelings on these little guys are mixed but if you have enough hiding spots and generally it leaves the other fish alone it isn't a huge deal to just leave them be. However if he becomes like my lil damsel was I would suggest trying to remove the #
#@*. Either way in a tank this size it isn't the problem it would be with a smaller tank. Really the decision is up to you. Keep us posted and good luck!
xxx (now you've been kissed by the fish) ;)
