the 16 inch strip has 14 leds and the 24 inch has 21 leds

Can you have to much led light at night?

i work for a vendor in home depots...ive seen those lights...i doubt they are good enough. i bought a 48" power compact with 2 led white moonlights in them. these things are awesome! they really do look like the moon. the water ripples and they look great at night. i have a72 bowfront. i think 2 more would really make the effect look better. its cool to walk by the tank and see the nocturnal serpant starfish out and about and see the fish swim by the reflection. its a very cool addition to any tank for sure. i would think 4 leds in a 70 gallon tank would be enough....anymore i think would just seem like another small light...dont over do it

the light is actually pretty decent! I think they light up the tank to much. Threre is plenty of shimmer effect going on.
