i can't find the thread where someone brought this -
http://www.ledwholesalers.com/store/...&productId=370
to my attention.
i ordered one, and it came today. my finds, so far, are as follows:
it's very cheaply made. some white caulk or epoxy was left on the cord.
it's not very bright either. i don't have any light spectrum metering equipment, so i am going to experiment with a few corals. under the panel of LED lights, i have placed(under approximately 1"-2" of water) a few zoos, a couple palys, a small frag of acan echinata, and a piece of digitata.
the LED panel is approximately 5" from the water surface.
at first glance, i don't even think this will be strong enough to light my refugium, but...who knows. when i point the panel towards me, the LED's are somewhat blinding, but again, the tank doesn't look very bright.
here you can see the difference between my current nova extreme pro, with only 2 daylight bulbs in it, and the led fixture under it-
