left over food issues

i have a valentini puffer and it gets messy when he eats. i have a couple hermits and an arrow crab dont know how long they will last. i was wondering is there an invert that can live with the puffer to eat leftover food. or a fish that stays small and doesnt produce a lot of waste cuz its a 30 gallon?

i was looking to get a valantini puffer are they hard to care for and are they aggresive?

Try a coral banded shrimp. I've heard that it's hit or miss with the valentini puffers and inverts -- but some people have had luck keeping a large CBS with 'em because they're tough.

Don't adjust your stocking of the tank based on your feeding, feed based on your livestock. You should only feed what can be completely consumed in 2 to 5 minutes. If there's food left over you're simply putting too much in.
