LemonPeel Angel

I just put a LemonPeel Angel in my tank and he doesn't seem to want to eat. I know they like algae, but will he eventually eat flake food or is there somethink else I should try. I don't have much algae. I should have researched this fish before I purchased it...

Try seaweed selects on a clip.
Try mysid shrimp, frozen or if your lucky enough to find it, live.
Try frozen Formula 1 or 2
Go to your LFS and ask them if you can have or buy a handful of caleurpa... (I never can get that spelling correct. ) or some other macro algae from their fuges.

It's normal for a new fish not to eat prepared foods. Angels will eat just about anything but in nature get a good deal of nourishment from algae. Try nori or other greens on a clip. Assorted meaty foods should be offered every couple days. Some finely chopped clam or mussel is a treat. Is this a new tank? Is there live rock for the fish to graze on?

Thanks I'll try all the foods that everyone is suggesting if I can find them. Our area isn't great in fact there's only one new store that can be trusted that has saltwater tanks...
It's not a new tank, it's been up and running but had problems and have just started putting fish back in... There's live rock but not much algae growing on it. It looks like he's picking at the rocks but I don't know if he's getting anything off it... Just concerned don't want to starve the fish..

He's not going to starve. Mine picks at the rocks all day and eats like a pig when feeding time comes. I feed my frozen mysis shrimp, frozen blood worms and the occasional flakes.
