Leopard Grouper. Eating????

Everything in my tank seems to be fine, but today I noticed my grouper isn't going after the food like everyone else?
are they picky eaters? I'm feeding prime reef.

dont know about the groupers eating habits but if he's acting different than he usually does he may be stressed for one reason or another, I have a goby who goes nuts at feeding time, one day he just sat there and everyone else ate all the food, I did a test and found high ammonia.
did a wc and next day he was back to his same old self
i guess to put it in confucious's terms "when fishy act fishy, somethings fishy"

Its not flake food, Its frozen shrimp and everything in one. Its called prime reef. I've only had him 5 days and this is the second feeding.

OK this is just my opinion
but
I read my book and it says for leopard groupers to "feed 2-4 times per week, meaty foods such as marine fish or crustacean flesh"...
1. test water to be sure all parameters are good (Ph, salinity, ammonia and trItes)
2. turn your lights off for one whole day
3. thaw frozen (meaty rations) completely
4. turn lights back on
5. feed (other fish) flakes or pellets
6. once others are done eating scatter in grouper rations and observe
if he doesn't eat he is stressed
2 questions, how did you acclimate and how did he eat during the first feeding
