leoparshark in trouble

my leopard jumped out thursday and i saved him but saturday i looked and his tail was torn and red like a cut. it seems like there has been no change since then and i think it might be infected. does anyone know what i can do to keep it from spreading or what it is? thank you

Moving this to disease. All I can reccomend is keeping pristine water quality, and maybe lowering your specific gravity some, but I'll leave this to people who know what they are talking about. Bo
