I ordered a Leptastrea coral and was wondering if anyone else has one. There isn't a lot of info out there on it but from what I did find, it seems like you can apply the same care to it as you would favias.

Thanks. I had planned to put it at the bottom where it would still get ok light with my halides and the flow will be high. I will move it up as needed.

well id say try it in both. from what i understand they can be fond in both very shallow water and very deep water. leps have larger polyps then favia's in general, i would think it came from deeper water with less of a turbid current and good but not bright lighting. i would start it out mid way 9 moderate lighting and flow and see how itdoes from there. ive never had a problem if i moved a coral from bottom to top, but if i had to move it from top to bottom, it, was because of a problem lol
