I am curious of your guy's lighting schedule, I heard something about the sump lights on opposite of the DT lights. I get confused in the difference between actinincs and daylight bulbs.
i run my actinics(blue bulbs)10hrs and my daylight(white bulbs)8hrs.they say to run your sump lights opposite because it helps to prevent ph drops(i think) but some people run there sump lights 24/7
Sump lights should be on opposite schedule of tank lights.
I run my my attinics from 8 am to 8 pm
My halide from 1100 am to 600 pm
Moon light is always on (no more room for a timer)
I run my 2X 250 W MHs' from 11a.m. to 7p.m. and my X dual compact antics from 2p.m. to 12a.m. and the moon lights from 12a.m. to 1a.m. I over lap the antics with the MH for 5 hrs.
i run my sump light the same as my dt lights i have t-5s so i have whites in with the blues so thet go on at 1040 the others go on at 11 and off at 8 than 830
