Those are great starters. My plan is more of a huge dream and isn't something that will happen in any near future, but I want to learn as much as possible in the mean time.

Well, if your interested Ive compiled quite a few documentaries of large acrylic aquarium construction including plywood/acrylic or plywood/glass combinations. If you interested PM me and I'll send you more information on how to build something like this. You may have read about a 1700 gallon plywood/acrylic shark tank. I didnt build it but did take it down in February, this tank was very well made and would provide a good example of how to do it right.
