The naso I had would too.. He was a pig and would even nibble on my finger while I was cleaning the tank... He died about a year ago. He was one of my favorite fish. He was too large for the tank I had. He was in my 180 and he quickly outgrew it. I think may have been the main contributor to his death. I still feel bad about it..
nice pic Claw...its so hard to get good pics of tangs cause they're always on the move (at least in my tank)
i agree that naso's need very large tanks to thrive in, bigger than most of us have ...its to bad becasue they are very beautiful fish and can be extremely tame. My achilles eats out of my hand sometimes, i guess when he feels brave
These guys are in the largest tank that my boyfriend and I have...one that I have not ever mentioned on this website before since I have never had any problems out of it! We named them Sunshine and Bouncer (Bouncer likes to "bounce" up and down minutes before feeding time...)
Claw,
Do your yellow and purple tangs ever bother one another? I read on this website that will pick on each other since they are similar in shape and size. I suppose that is only for smaller tanks than yours?
BTW, the picture is beautiful!
