Darknes, I was thinking of getting one of those. What kind of lighting do you have? I'm just starting to integrate corals in my what was a FOWLR tank. I thought it was pretty interesting based on the decription on SWF.com. Any comments on keeping one?

I bought mine from this site as well...it's an awesome coral. Someone else had posted a pic a while back, and I HAD to have it.
It actually doesn't require any lighting...it's a filter feeding coral.
It's easy to care for, just keep it in a medium current towards the bottom, and bury it in the sand. Make sure to keep it away from any stinging corals. Feed it a few times a week (I just add phyto and cyclopeeze to my tank).
Its interesting because it will close up completely and look like the pic below. It's also on its own schedule...sometimes it opens at night, sometimes during the day, sometimes it stays closed for a few days...really interesting.
I added a few better pics I took today. :joy:

there cool when they are open, worthless ball of space when closed. Mine stays open during afternoon/evening/we hours in the night and closed from we hours in the morning until about noon. hardly ever veers off its schedule unless bothered.

Wow thanks for adding the additional pics! I am so glad you told me about complete closing...I would have went into to panic mode if it had happened to me. I think it will definitely be next on my list.
