I'm probably the youngest person who regularly posts here, but please don't take that against me. (Unless it is politics or something.) I do kind of want to know how old people thought I was though... I might post it later.

I love it when young people are on the site. Imagine how much insight you will have on SW tanks by adulthood. I didn't start keeping SW tanks until 40, I had kept freshwater tanks since I was 16.

Just be careful. I have seen school board members get sued for actions of the school. Just something to keep in mind.

arty: That would seem to hinder your ability to get hired there just a bit. I remember it wasn't long after my Aunt had won her case they dismantled the union in that district and began to privatize everything. My mom is still in that district trying make it a little longer to hit her retirement. But she's lost some of her benefits and in order to keep her job she had to accept a pay cut as well as an increase in hours. Tough break in a market where new jobs are scarce.

The school district I'm suing is about 2 hours away. I don't see any way that this school board would get access to that case.
In any event, I'm guessing that there will be a lot of candidates and it's likely I won't get the position anyway. But just in case, throwing my hat into the ring...
